What is Meal Creations?
Meal Creations eliminates meal planning, shopping, prep work and heavy cleaning by moving the meal assembly process out of your kitchen into ours.

Meal Creations guests pick a session to prepare their entrees then choose their main-course selection from the monthly menu. We provide the recipe, ingredients and equipment to prep that entrée to bring home for a future meal.

What do I do after I reserve my session?
When you arrive at Meal Creations our friendly and knowledgeable associates will greet you and explain the process. Guests rotate through the workstations scooping prepped raw ingredients into the provided baking pans or plastic bags. We will provide labels with the appropriate cooking instructions.

How long does the entire process take?
Depending on your skill level, the average guest needs about two hours to prepare 12 entrees. Allow a little extra time if it is your first visit to Meal Creations.

How many people does each entrée serve?
Each entrée serves six. If you feel the entrée is too much food for your family, feel free to split entrees into two dinners at no additional charge. Some items, such as slow-cooker recipes, are not recommended for splitting. You don’t need to select full or split-size orders ahead of time; just decide as you go.

How is the food packaged?
We will provide all the packaging required. Either foil pans or plastic bags for grilled, slow-cooker or stove top recipes. The appropriate container will have a designated label with cooking instructions. Carry your selections home packed in your cooler to be cooked or frozen for cooking later.

Can I order more than one of the same menu item?
Yes, you may select up to two of any entree in most packages. Only one of each entree is available with the Special Introductory Offer.  

What do I need to bring?
We suggest you wear comfortable clothes and shoes, but feel free to come as you are. Meal Creations provides aprons and plastic gloves.

How do I transport my items home?
Meal Creations highly recommends you bring a cooler to transport your items home keeping in mind food safety and your family’s health. Our enthusiastic associates will be happy to help you to your car.

How much freezer space will I need?
One full shelf of a regular freezer should hold 12 entrees.

How will Meal Creations really streamline my life?
Meal Creations enables you to provide your family with nutritious, homemade food with less stress and guilt. The “what’s for dinner?” predicament frequently results in reluctant trips to costly and unhealthy restaurants and fast-food establishments. You will instantly see the benefits from your visit to Meal Creations. You will take pride knowing you’ve created good tasting food customized for your family while saving time and money.

But how will this really save me time?
The average drive to the grocery store is ten minutes there and back. Tack on 45 minutes to do your shopping, plus 15 minutes to unload and put away your items. Most spend an additional 45 minutes for food preparation and clean up. Meal Creations eliminates these hours that add up in your week. Imagine what you can do with this extra time each day!

What if I’m just too busy to drop in this month to assemble my entrees?
Think of Meal Creations as your own Personal Chef and leave the assembly to us. Call your nearest location with as much notice as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request for a nominal additional charge. We’ll customize your entrees to your liking. Also, we have some entrees available in our Grab & Go freezer that you can pick up for a night or two.

What if I like to cook? Why is Meal Creations for me?
There are many circumstances when you will want to have a Meal Creations entrée at the ready. It is a wonderful way to ensure dinner will be prepared while mom or dad is away on business and unavailable to cook. Perhaps the babysitter is coming over and isn’t comfortable in the kitchen. Meal Creations is the perfect solution for aging parents who don’t like to cook or find themselves in a situation where they must cook only for themselves.

Will my kids like the food?
Meal Creations entrees are aimed at satisfying a wide variety of tastes. The beauty of custom-creating your own entrees is that you’ll be able to make sure that each recipe comes out just the way your family likes it. Modify the recipe to suit everyone’s palate. If you don’t like onions, leave them out or if you love garlic add more.

Can I bring my kids?
We encourage you to bring your school age child with you to your session (one child per adult, please). Parents testify that not only will kids have fun helping prepare dinner, they will brag that they made it. Watch your child take pride in their creation and gobble it down!
